Myoko is one of the most accessible powder destinations in Japan from Tokyo. Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagano in around 90 minutes, then a local train to Myoko Kogen in 50 minutes. Total journey from central Tokyo is under two and a half hours. Nagano to Joetsu Myoko on the shinkansen is also an option for guests arriving from the north or west.

Why Orija Basecamp?
Most Myoko accommodation puts you in a busy lodge or resort hotel surrounded by other guests. Orija Basecamp gives your group the entire house — your own kitchen, your own living space, and evenings that feel like you actually live here rather than passing through.
The location is in the part of Myoko where locals eat and drink, not the tourist strip. Onsen are a five minute walk.
Real sushi, soba, and yakitori are on the doorstep.
